Online App Signer Guide

This guide is divided into three parts 1.Introduction 2.How to use Online App Signer and 3.How to Install User certificate in your phone

* Introduction
Many J2ME app which are developed by an Individual or a small company are not digitally signed with commercial certificates like verisign or thawte because they are coslty, also if any app is signed with these certificates and we edit the app then its signature will no longer be valid. When we use such unsigned apps then our phone always asks for different types of permissions such as File System read, write, net connection etc. so to avoid this we can use User Certificates such as Darkman. To use this certificate for signing purpose we have to install this certificate in our phone as well as sign app with Darkman(both process explained below). In PC we can use behappy to sign app with darkman but to make app signing facility for all this Online App Signer will help you to do this even in mobile(also in pc) in one click.

* How to use Online App Signer
1. Main page contains file upload option where user can upload jar, jar.zip file either by normal FileUpload option or URL upload option.
2. After that you have to Add Permissions which can be done either by Add all Permissions option or Adding Permission manually.
3. In 1st option all the permissions will be automatically added to Jad file. This option is recommended.
4. In 2nd option permissions will be added according to checkbox state.
5. Now click on Continue button and the file will be signed with Darkman certificate and will be available to download.

* How to Install User certificate in your phone
1. Download MobiMb and User Certificate and extract in any folder in your computer.
2. In MobiMb folder click on Setup.exe to install.
3. After installation connect your phone to pc and run the app.
4. Navigate to folder C:/Hiddenfolder/certificates/user and copy the ext_info.sys and exp.cer from user folder(which you have extracted previously) and paste(or replace) to this folder , now it should look something like this

5. Now your phone have Darkman Certificate which can be used for signing purpose same as verisign and thawte.
